What is Intergenerational Programming?

Intergenerational Programs encourage the interaction between older and younger generations with fun, hands-on activities. Elders receive the benefit of reduced isolation, and children learn about empathy, understanding and diversity. Activities include baking, gardening, music, exercise, story time, art activities to name a few.

Does Generations offer a Curriculum for Children?

Yes! Not only does Generations Child Care provide a safe and nurturing environment, we also offer a creative, age specific curriculum that engages all children in early education.

Is Intergenerational Programming Safe?

The Memory Care & Child Care areas are separate and secured by locked entry. Intergenerational activities are carefully planned & closely supervised at all times. Participation in intergenerational activities is never mandatory but is encouraged! Click Here to see our facility layout.

Is There a Waitlist?

Generations Child Care is currently full.

If you are interested in or wanting to get on our waitlist, please fill out the Enrollment Form!

Generations Memory Care currently has two rooms available for private pay (non-waiver).

If you are interested in a tour, please call us or email dwight@caremankato.com. Please allow 24-48 hours for a response. 

Is there a Nurse on Staff?

Unique to Memory Care at Generations, we have a full time nurse who is on site full time, five days a week. Additionally, our tenants and staff have access to our on-call nurses 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to meet tenant needs.
